Established in 1994, Bill Huey + Associates has realized continued growth over the past 30 years. We are known for our diverse project portfolio of exceptional residential architecture, award winning historic preservation projects, and cutting edge commercial designs. We remain committed to the utmost client service through a balance of technical knowledge and artistic expression.

Bill Huey
Architect
A 1985 graduate of the Clemson University College of Architecture, South Carolina native Bill Huey began his working career in Charleston in 1987. He was registered in 1993 and started his firm, Bill Huey + Associates in 1994. Bill served on the Mount Pleasant Old Village Historic District Commission for 10 years and is a past president of the Charleston Custom residential Architects Network – AIA CRAN. Bill currently serves on the Board of Architectural Review (BAR) for the city of Charleston. When not in the office Bill enjoys spending time with his family, traveling abroad, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Nicole Putnam
Architect
Nicole Putnam earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from North Carolina State university following an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. Nicole enjoys all that Charleston has to offer, from historic renovations, commercial opportunities and residential home design. Designing a project specific to the individual Owner(s) and seeing their dreams realized during a project is extremely rewarding for Nicole. When not daydreaming about architecture, Nicole enjoys gardening, cooking, and relaxing with her husband at their small homestead.
